By faaaar the best Pizza in Budapest and my favorite! It's a very small but cozy place, so make sure to book a table (especially at the weekend). They also do food delivery via Wolt.

Etna is a smaller place in the city center, right off Kiraly utca. They also offer awesome Pasta.

PizzaMe is kind of a Fastfood chain for Pizza. There are many shops all over the city and you can also order home delivery. You pay per slice, which makes trying the different styles easy. It's a great place to end or start a party night ;)

Tom Georg doesn't sound like the most Italian place, but the Pizza is great! Their other food and cocktails as well. During summer time it's also nice to sit outside and watch people passing by.

Sushi might not be the first food choice you think of when you're in Hungary, but Budapest has some amazing Sushi plazes!
My favorite Sushi place in town! A bit more on the pricey site but worth it. Also very tasty cocktails! I recommend to order one of the big plates for several persons.
Tokio Budapest
Japanika seems like a touristy place as it is located right beside the Basilika, but it is also loved by the locals. Sushi is amazing and they also offer a variety of cocktails! Prices are mid-high.

Senbazuru is my favourite place to ORDER Sushi in Budapest. It's fast and delicious and the prices are fair. Their Ramen is also worth a try!

Sushi Time is a chain in Budapest, most of them are located in big shopping malls (e.g. Westend, Allee). They have really yummy Sushi boxes for Takeaway, but you can also order them for Home delivery via Wolt or Foodora. Prices are fair.

This is such a cute little place for great sushi. It's not located in the city center, but alos not too far out (~15min walking time from Deák Ferenc tér). Highly recommend!

If you like high quality meat, here are some really good options.
Prime has the best Steak selection in town. Prices are on the higher end, but the place feels sophisticated still casual and food and service is amazing. Would also highly recommend their bar.

Qui is located between Basilika and Danube. The Interior is as amazing as their food. Their Pad Thais are legendary!

Lángos is a must-eat when you visiting Budapest! The best place to get one is Retro Lángos situated near to the Basilika in the City center. They offer so many different Lángos flavours that it is hard to choose - from sweet to salty to anything you can imagine :) There can be queues sometimes but they are very organised and move fast.
