I love having color in my Journals. It not only make my Journal look so much better but it also can improve My mood. This list is some of my favorite Journaling Pens and highlighter. I have been Journaling for over 40 years. Now I still journal but I also use Journals and notebooks to help keep track of things I need as a caregiver. There is so many beautiful journals out there that can help inspire you. With every type you need.

Home Decor can uplift your mood. As A Caregiver to a parent with dementia some days can be long and some can even be down right depressing. I have tried to have a place where I can retreat than is full of color and uplifting. My bedroom is not complete but heres some of the things I have used or saved.

My Parents and grandparents were photographers, and I have 1000s of slides and film stripe. I have tried multiple different scanners and have made a list of the ones i have used or have researched and put on my wish list. With my Mom having Dementia it has been great for her to be able see to all the pictures and she usually will have a little story to go with some of them. It's not always the right story anymore but it makes her happy.

In a world that uses mostly electronics to keep up with busy lives, I'm still a stickie note girl. I have them everywhere. At my work space , by my bed, in my purse, on my end tables and in the front of my day planner. There a size and color for every note you might need and are great for writing temporary notes or sticking a reminder up.

As A Caregiver to my Mom, this list is some of the things I have learned that help me get through everyday. She has dementia and has live with with for over 2 years. Elder safety is something I learned as time went by. The Security Cameras not only give me the ability to keep an eye on her while doing chores around the house but also give me the ability to escape to a private space and take a breath without having to worry as much about her. The door alarms would be my second favorite item I use. Most of the time she is just going out to sit on the porch but once in awhile she tries to wander farther away. when I hear the door alarm if I can't ran right to the door I can quickly check the cameras and see that she's Ok. Not only do I live in a small house, but I also had to move my Mom in. So with limit space I have had to get creative with my office space. I want a little privacy so a cleaned out a space in the corner Of My Bedoom. There is so many different ideas out there that can make your small work space amazing.

These are my favorite Cell Phones and Cell Phone Accessories. I video chat all the time with my lond distance Children and Grandbabies. It makes the distance so much easier. Being a caregiver to a parent with Demaentia I use my phone for all things time related. Appointmenat, Pill alarms, Informatiom on how to care for her. Even showing her post from her friends.
