These are my absolute favorite pencil grip.  I tell the kids to put their fingers under the “umbrella” to help them understand finger placement.  These allow a little more freedom for the fingers and more comfort with use.

Did you know that adding extra sensory input to the hands/fingers when learning letters can help kids learn to write them and remember them for reading ?  This sand tray is perfect for that.  Not enough sand to cause a huge mess.  I like to color the sand sometimes too !  Make learning letters and shapes fun.

Use more than just pencil and paper to learn letters !  These mess free wax sticks will have your child asking to practice.  Also fun for free and imaginative play ! I use them to help kids learn to write “on the line” as well since they also stick to paper (and are removable).
