I find that a lot of beginner “must have” lists can be intimidating and not truly cost conscious. Here's a list of supplies that I recommend having on hand for those just starting out with gelx or dip nails. You honestly can start doing your nails at home with supplies you probably already have, including:- cotton balls- Isopropyl Alcohol 99%- tin foil- paper towels

Here's a list of all of my favorite gel polishes that I've come across so far! If you're someone who favors nail art, I recommend getting a bundle since you can try a little bit of everything. If you're on the minimalist side, then purchasing a set with fewer colors or a single color is the way to go since you'll get more product per container. Either way, you can't go wrong!

Dip powder is where my nail addiction started. I was interested in doing my nails at home, but I wanted something that would last for several weeks, has a nice color payoff, and would add some strength to my nails. And dip powder satisfies all of these requirements! Don't be fooled, you can do a lot with some good quality dip and nail art accessories.
