What a surprise this little park was! It's beautiful! It has a place to canoe, play pickleball, hike, and just watch the water. We had my son's senior pics taken here by the water.
Lake Crabtree County Park
My favorite farmers market EVER! It's open year round. The produce is beautiful and plenty. My favorite thing about it though is the plants you can buy! There are so many plant nurseries that set up here. We have landscaped almost my entire house with plants from here. And it has a really cool bulk spice place too. Although it's only there in the warm months. Oh! and during the fall, pumpkins, apples, and gords galore!
State Farmers Market - Raleigh
This goes from one of the state to the other! But the trails through Raleigh are all in Falls River State Park. They are well marked and safe!
Mountains-to-Sea Trail | North Carolina
Our favorite place to hike! It is dog friendly and you can take trails that are easy, short, and not very woody. OR, you can take longer trails that are a little more difficult. None of them take too long or are too strenuous. We love to take the dog along so he can play in the water.

Beautiful sculptures dot these garden paths. A great place to walk and talk. They also have many pop up markets here that are fun to go to.
North Carolina Museum of Art
THE place for pictures. Quiet, wooded, and shaded. A lovely place for a romantic walk. It's also close to NC State and nightlife.

Not a place to look for vegetables, but this flea market is awesome! It's every weekend and has everything from vintage finds to new patio cushion covers.
